The idea for the Knot cushion came in 2011 and was inspired by figures I was crocheting that had long tubular legs. 
Also influenced by a scouting background, I decided to start looking into knots and came across The Ashley Book of Knots, a wonderful collection of knots from all over the world. 
The outcome was the knot pillow.
